Sanjeev has been practicing for 13 years, and, in addition to years of private practice experience, is the former vice president of intellectual property law at Kintera, Inc., a publicly traded software company.  In 2010 and 2012, The Daily Transcript selected him as a San Diego County Top Attorney. 


Sanjeev focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and counseling clients on developing and managing patent portfolios. He has represented clients of all sizes in a variety of industries and has expertise in a broad range of technologies including digital/wireless communication (IEEE 802.11, LTE, Bluetooth, etc.), optics, medical devices, diagnostic software and devices pump technologies, oil and gas production, solar energy systems, and business methods. 

Prior to law school, he was an aerospace engineer with General Dynamics Corporation and Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he worked as a senior flight design engineer for the integration of Department of Defense space missions.

Sanjeev graduated from the University of Illinois (B.S., aeronautical and astronautical engineering, 1988) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2000) where he served as notes and comments editor of the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy.  During law school, he interned for Judge Randall Rader at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  He is a member of the State Bar of California, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
